Well I finally managed to convince myself I could run (jog) 9.3 miles, and signed up for a huge annual 15K here in Jacksonville. It was actually easier than I thought it would be. I'm sure the excitement of running with 15,000 other people through pretty downtown JAX with live music urging us all along helped a bunch. Next year I think I'll put little Nater in the jogger, and urge Jason to join me, and make it a family affair. Hopefully the 2009 race won't include the uncharacteristic 40 mile an hour wind gusts we contended with on the tall bridges... they actually stopped us in our tracks, and even blew us around a bit. Pretty crazy. Anyway, a fun experience.

That looks CRAZY! How many people ran it? How did you feel? I will be running the half-marathon at Lake Yamanaka next month. I'm not gonna lie: I'm terrified!
