Twilight

Is anyone else addicted like I am to the Twilight book series by Stephanie Meyer?? So what if it's theoretically written for the teenage demographic, I'm hooked. (Grown-ups read Harry Potter, right?!) In fact, the first book is this month's selection for my bookclub (made up of military spouses, not teens) here in JAX. It's sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat-drama, and very well written. It is also incredibly romantic in a refreshing PG sort of way, yet not so childish that I'm giggling and groaning through the pages. There are only hints of it being on the juvenile side, and that's fine by me. I'm on the third of the four books, and starting to feel sad that I'm nearly finished. One of my girlfriends from the bookclub has finished the series, and said to me, I miss my "friends"! I guess when you read about someone for nearly 3,000 pages, you get to that point. A very easy and entertaining read, if you're looking for that.
