We went to an amazing event on Friday, put on by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It was titled the "Night of Champions", and speakers included Tim Tebow and his family, Danny Wuerffel and his family, Kirk Herbstreit, comedian Kenn Kington, and Ritchie McDonald of Lonestar. It was an evening full of good stories from the Heisman Trohpy winners and their parents, along with hillarious comedy and great music. It was inspirational, family friendly, and overall, an incredibly refreshing way to spend an evening out. I have so much respect for these Christian guys, and their wonderful messages and contributions.
We also went to a fun festival in our neighborhood, where Nathan got a a fun tiger balloon, some playtime with bubbles, and a little good ol' summertime-running-in-the-grass.
